Anxiety
Socialise your dog so that he becomes familiar with what to expect when dealing with people, other dogs, children, traffic noises and so on.
In order to develop properly into a well balanced individual he must experience interaction with other dogs. To avoid separation anxiety it is important that you do not allow your dog to become overdependent on your company.
Separation anxiety results in stress and frustration: crying, howling, barking, chewing, digging, scratching, stealing, self mutilation.
